Millimeter Wave Transmitter IPs

mmWave (mm-Wave) transmitters (TX) are designed generate modulated signals and amplify them to the required output power. Silicon integrated power amplifiers may generate up to 20dBm of output power. When higher output power is needed, an external III-V power amplifier may follow the silicon transmitter. In addition to the output power, relative bandwidth and the required Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) are other key requirements mmw TXs.

SaberTek has developed key mmWave TX IPs for various frequency band, K-band (24GHz), V-band (60GHz), E-band (71-76 and 81-86 GHz), and W-band (77GHz and 94GHz). These IP’s could be used to develop competitive mmw products for various applications such as WiGig, automotive radar, passive imaging, and E-band backhaul.
